Hey guys! So I finally traded in my little hampster car for an SUV and I don’t know how we were surviving before making the switch. I seriously used to stack wood all the way up the middle console (totally safe… not). A few weeks after getting our new car, I partnered with Graco to try a new car seat for Olivia. We already have a few Graco carseats; however, I was super excited to try the Graco Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat that has a easy to remove and washable seat pad as my girl is messy and potty training (double trouble).
We ordered the seat from Walmart.com and got free 2-day shipping.
We love Graco carseats because of their quality, safety, and affordability. Graco is the largest manufacturer for a reason! They have any outstanding line of products that will last your family for years. I love that Graco makes carseats that can grow with your child, especially the Extend2Fit model. Each of their car seats are rigorously tested to meet or exceed US FMVSS safety standards, helping provide a safe ride for your little one, from infancy to youth. I have always been torn between the safety of rear-facing and comfortability of a forward-facing car seat. With this seat, a child can safely remain rear-facing up to 50 lbs. I was super curious to see how the 5 extra inches of leg room would work for my now 3 year old so I turned the seat around and was amazed at how comfortably she fit. She is in the 75th percentile for her height and was able to almost fully extend her legs.
This seat also has slits that go around the harness to make it easier to remove the fabric of the seat. This is such a big deal (especially during potty training). I am ashamed to mention the last time I washed her previous seat. LOL!
My peanut couldn’t stop laughing at sitting rear-facing! I’m going to keep her that way for as long as possible.
